While we would prefer to have you deliver your presentation in real time, we are aware that for some presenters, this may not be feasible. For those who choose pre-recorded video as your presentation method, we request that you record a video of your research presentation that adheres to the following standards:
Guidelines to Prepare and Submit a Pre-Recorded Video
  1. The pre-recorded video should not exceed 15 minutes.
  2. The pre-recorded video should be prepared in MP4 format, with a resolution of at least 720p and the file size should not exceed 100MB. Watch How to Reduce Size of the Video to reduce the file size while maintaining the quality of the video.
  3. There is no restriction on the tool used to record the presentation as a video (e.g., camera recording, etc. can be used for recording purposes).
  4. The pre-recorded video should clearly present the slides (with voice-over).
  5. Preferably, PowerPoint slides are used for the presentation. All necessary information such as the paper title, authors’ name, affiliation, and photo of the presenter must appear on the first presentation slide. The content of the presentation should cover the following: introduction, methodology, results, and conclusion.
  6. If you intend to include background music in your video, you must ensure that it does not interfere with your voice-over.
  7. We require you to upload the pre-recorded video into the Easychair by the 15th of August 2022 as a backup in the event of technical difficulties occur on the day of the presentation. Please do not upload PowerPoint or PDF files.
  8. You must be present online during the video's playtime and be prepared to answer questions from the audience afterward.
In the meantime, those who choose a live presentation must prepare and submit their presentation slides in accordance with the guidelines outlined below.
